SRC Crash Bars have cool sacrificial nylon pads that are strategically positioned to be the point of impact if you happen to drop your bike or have a tip over.  If you do happen to scratch one up, you can easily remove it and install a freshie!

These are designed to fit 1" diameter bars. All SRC bars are 1" and they should fit other brands of crash bars that are 1"/25mm diameter.

Please Note: These are not solid frame sliders.  Frame sliders are designed to grind away in a fall on the pavement at speed. These are more for tip-overs at low speed to protect the crash bars from scratches etc.

Price is per replacement pad. (order 1 pad, get 1 pad)

ATTENTION!

The upper body work on the 2025 Tenere 700 is slightly wider than previous models.  The lower kits below do fit the 2025.-2026

A new full kit   2025 and 2026 models is now available here on our website.

SRC Designs Engine/Crash Bar Set for Yamaha Ténéré 700 2019 - 2025*

2020-2021 full and lower kits are compatible with SRC skid plate.

*2022-2025 models, you can not use the SRC V2 skid plate and lower crash bars.

PLEASE NOTE! The SRC lower crash bars as well as most others are not compatible with the SRC V2 skid plate. That being said, the SRC V2 skid plate wing extensions do a good job of protecting the lower portions of the engine.

Also, some international markets received the EURO 5 updates on the 2021 models (larger catalytic converter in the headpipe), North America models did not get this until 2022.  If you are unsure of how to order, shoot us an email for assistance.

Replacement guard/crash bar pads can be found here A common question is “Can the skid plate and crash bars be installed together?”  Yes, both parts include spacers that are used in the main mounting locations when the part is installed by itself. When adding the second part, the spacer is removed to allow room for the 2nd parts mounting bracket thickness. These crashbars often contain brown colored blasting media particles found in the ends of the bars.  This is not rust and is perfectly normal.Product installation instructions can be found here

These are made by the same company that makes the AS skid plate. They are from Europe, we gave them a try, but the importing cost was crazy, so we are closing them out.  Nice quality!

4 mm thick aluminum is substantially lighter than steel plates for deep off-road excursions. Only 5 lbs.

Quality hardware--not the soft fasteners that come with some other brands.

Replaceable nylon slider protectors.

Electrostatic powder-coated for maximum durability, corrosion resistance, and color longevity.
