PLEASE NOTE!

Late in 2024 DOUBLETAKE began to manufacture their own 6" arms as RAM copied their rugged mirror idea and became a competitor. So DOUBLETAKE took the opportunity to further improve their product. That is what we have in stock. There are a few images shown with the old RAM parts, but the first image is what you will receive.

Our kit includes:

DoubleTakes 6" arms, full adapter kit to allow fitment to all adventure bikes.

• This kit fits almost any motorcycle make and model - Each pair comes with a Universal Adapter Kit which includes two 10 x 1.25mm Extensions, two 10 x 1.5mm BMW adapters, and one Reverse-Thread Adapter.

• Here is a quick list:
• HONDA: 250L, Rally, CB500X, NC750, Africa Twins
• KAWASAK: 300X Versys, Versys 650, Versys 1000
• KTM: All adventure models
• SUZUKI: V-Strom 650, V-Strom 1000
• TRIUMPH: Tigers
• Royal Enfield: Himalayan

• DUCATI: Multistrada
• BETA: 500RR-S
• BMW: 310 GS, 310 R, 800 GS, 1200 GS, 1200 GS
• YAMAHA: FJ-09, Tenere 700
• And many more!

Over the years we have tried many popular Adventure bike mirror options and always come back to the simple and durable DoubleTake ADV sets as they simply work and provide an excellent field of view with minimal vibration distortion.  We feel this is the most important feature, functionality over form. There are a bunch of small/minimalist options to choose from on the web if you're into that, but safety and visibility are most important to us and that's why we run the DOUBLETAKE ADVENTURE mirrors on all of our bikes.

Kit includes:  2 mirrors, 2 - 6" arms, 2 - 1" ball mounts, and thread adapters for your bike if needed, a small tube of Loctite thread locker (SRC exclusive!) Apply thread locker to adapter and ball mount threads to prevent your mirrors from vibrating loose.  Everything you need to install them in just a few minutes on most bikes!

Install Tip: We recommend using one of the extension arms tightly clamped onto the ball mount to tighten the ball mount (and adapters if needed) into the mirror mounts of your bike.

PS- If you are price shopping, please note that we include the correct adapters and spacers for the specific models below as well as Loctite thread locker to keep them from vibrating loose!

Below is the DoubleTake Mirror inventors story of how the DoubleTakes came to be-

This mirror is the product of much frustration- I spent years breaking other designs and wondering what was going on behind me on the road. Eventually, when I dropped my bike and found myself buying two(!) new master cylinders as a result, I decided it was time to make a really good mirror, one that would function well as a mirror, and also protect the bike (and me) from damage. I had three goals for my design: That it work as well as an OEM mirror for seeing what was going on behind. That it would be indestructible. It would have to give way in a crash to avoid damage not only to the mirror, but also to the bike. That it could fold completely out of the way, so that when I am offroad, I don't have to think about it. Many experiments later, the mirrors for sale here is the result. Both models hit all three marks right on the nose. We use SAE spec glass to give maximum visibility (it can be important to distinguish Crown Victoria headlights from other vehicles!), it is made right here in Colorado Springs from a super tough nylon that we are so certain will survive we offer a lifetime warranty (on the housing, not the glass, but you can buy the glass separately), and sure enough, it folds right down when you want it gone. If you're deciding between the Adventure model, and the Enduro, our advice is simple. If you plan to fold the mirror down a large percentage of the time, the Enduro is right for you. The long size means the head of the mirror tucks away right behind the headlight. If the mirror will more or less remain extended, get the Adventure- the more compact design is more stable at highway speeds. Either way, you can't go wrong.

The SRC headlight guard provides a proper defense against rocks, limbs, and other debris you might encounter on your adventures!

All mounting hardware is included and the guard is easily installed in about 10 minutes with common hand tools. The trick pin mount system allows for quick removal for cleaning with no tools!

PLEASE NOTE: If you are running the windscreen in the upright position, you can install the headlight guard in that position, but it will be tilted forward a bit at the top. SRC Crash Bars have cool sacrificial nylon pads that are strategically positioned to be the point of impact if you happen to drop your bike or have a tip over.  If you do happen to scratch one up, you can easily remove it and install a freshie!

These are designed to fit 1" diameter bars. All SRC bars are 1" and they should fit other brands of crash bars that are 1"/25mm diameter.

Please Note: These are not solid frame sliders.  Frame sliders are designed to grind away in a fall on the pavement at speed. These are more for tip-overs at low speed to protect the crash bars from scratches etc.

Price is per replacement pad. (order 1 pad, get 1 pad)

For some reason, Royal Enfield failed to offer any extra fused and switched accessory circuits or a standard battery tender connector on the HIMILAYAN. So we have designed and manufactured a nice harness with some cool features that anyone should be able to install in about 30 minutes with common hand tools. The harness is made of high-quality OEM grade materials for years of trouble-free service. It is also protected by a 15 amp fuse.

MOTOSTUFF 12 volt accessory Harness for 2017-2023 (inlcidng Tripper equipped models) HIMALAYAN features:

• 2 switched 12-volt leads that are long enough to reach the handlebars or instrument cluster area.
• SAE connector for quick connection of Battery Tender
• HITACHI waterproof micro Relay

Product instructions located here

PLEASE NOTE!

We recently discovered that some owners of ABS models were having a hard time locating the tail light connector we were using for the switched 12-volt circuit to energize our harness when the ignition is switched on. So we did some further investigation and found an easy connection point on the bikes diagnostic service connector on all Himalayans that can be used for this.

The printed instructions show this new connection point in step 5. The video below still shows the old connection point. (This is shown beginning at around 6:40 for reference)

This is the diagnostic connector (photo below) with the yellow 12-volt switch circuit on our harness connected.

Installation overview:

Remove the seat to gain access to the battery, connect the red lead of the MOTOSTUFF harness to the positive battery terminal and the black lead to the negative battery terminal. Use the included Posi-Tap connector to attach the MOTOSTUFF relay switch wire to the Himilayan harness near the battery. Route the MOTOSTUFF harness under the fuel tank, up through the triple clamps and to the handlebars or to the dash area if you are using one of our 12-volt accessory USB or 12-volt sockets (cigarette lighter style). Available below.

12-Volt Socket Version: (cigarette lighter style) This is a high-quality 12-volt socket we developed to offer an OEM appearance, with a water-resistant hinged spring-loaded cover. Easily installed in just a couple of minutes, all you need is an 8mm wrench or socket to remove the rearmost windscreen adjusting bolt (left or right side) so you can insert the bracket of your MOTOSTUFF USB/12 volt socket accessory in place. Reinstall the bolt and tighten to secure the bracket in place and plug the end of the MOTOSTUFF HIMALAYAN harness into the USB/12 volt socket connector and you are ready to go! Step by step detailed instructions are included.

Dual USB Version: This is a high-quality dual USB charger with an OE appearance featuring a water-resistant spring-loaded hinged cover. The dual USB charger outputs 2.1 amps for fast phone charging and features a blue led indicator to let you know it's on.

Easily installed in just a couple of minutes, all you need is an 8mm wrench or socket to remove the rearmost windscreen adjusting bolt (left or right side) so you can insert the bracket of your MOTOSTUFF USB/12 volt socket accessory in place. Reinstall the bolt and tighten to secure the bracket in place. And plug the end of the MOTOSTUFF HIMALAYAN harness into the USB/12 volt socket connector and you are ready to go! Step by step detailed instructions are included.

All Kits include 18" 2 circuit lead (18 gauge red 12V+ and Black ground) with abrasion sheath and 2 black zip ties for secure installation.

USB Adapter- For your convenience, We've sourced a rugged Dual USB charger with aluminum housing for use with the 12 Volt socket kit- Available below. It does not fit flush, so it keeps the cover open about 3/4 of the way open, which provides easy access to the lower port as well as providing some protection against light rain/water exposure.

This is a 15 AMP switched circuit, which means it is turned off and on by the bikes ignition switch.

Here's a shortlist of the average current draw for popular accessories:

• Heated Grips 3-5 AMPS
• USB Phone Charger 1-2 AMPS
• Heated Gloves 3 AMPS
• Heated Jacket 8 AMPS
• Heated Pants 6 AMPS

WARNING: Most High output horns will draw too much amperage for this circuit. If you are planning to use a 12-volt compact air compressor, be sure to check it to make sure it does not draw more than 10 amps! Usually better to get a compressor that connects to your battery tender SAE connector and ensure it's got the proper capacity.

Crash Bars / Engine Guards 2017-2023 Royal Enfield Himalayan and SCRAM 411 with lower cross bar engine protection.

• Available electropolished 304 stainless steel silver or satin black powder coat steel
• Stout 1" (25mm) tube with 1/8" (3mm ) wall thickness
• CNC Laser cut bracketry and mounts for a precise fit
• Sacrificial heavy-duty delrin guards at critical impact zones that are easily replaced if they are damaged in a tip-over
• The design of this V2  guard set with lower engine cross guards requires the right bar to be loosened for clearance of oil cover bolt removal for filter change.

A common question is “Can the skid plate and crash bars be installed together?”  Yes, both parts include spacers that are used in the main mounting locations when the part is installed by itself. When adding the second part, the spacer is removed to allow room for the 2nd parts mounting bracket thickness.
