Fits 2017 to 2027 Honda CRF 250L Rally/300L Rally models

HONDA was nice enough to include a handy 10 AMP* switched accessory lead that is clipped inside the left front fairing on the CRF 250L Rally & 300L Rally models, however, they have yet to release an accessory lead to plug into it! So we picked up the ball and sourced the correct original HONDA waterproof connectors and built them. All leads are 18" long and allow for safe routing from the left upper fairing, following the factory harness routing to the Rally tower and the mount easily installs using a rubber well nut.

Two options are available to choose from: 12-volt & Dual USB

Please note, the 250 & 300 installs are the same.

Please select between these two versions of the Electrical Accessory Lead:

• Dual USB option
• 12-Volt Socket option

Dual USB Version: This is a high-quality dual USB charger with an OE appearance featuring a water-resistant spring-loaded hinged cover. The dual USB charger outputs 2.1 amps for fast phone charging and features a blue led indicator to let you know it's on. Easily installed in just a couple of minutes, all you need is an 8mm wrench or socket to tighten the well nut to secure the bracket to the Rally Tower tube. (remove the rubber plug from the left end of the upper tower bar and insert well nut and snug it up until the bracket is secure!) And plug the other end into the auxiliary power connector inside the left fairing of the Rally.

12 Volt Socket Version: (cigarette lighter style) This is a high-quality 12-volt socket we developed to offer an OEM appearance, with a water-resistant hinged spring-loaded cover. (2017-2019 CRF 250L kit mounts on the front side of the top right fork triple clamp)

Also available on our site: USB Adapter- For your convenience, We've sourced a rugged Dual USB charger with aluminum housing for use with the 12 Volt socket kit- in the electrical Accessory section of our website.

* This is a 10 AMP Switched circuit (fuse #5 on the Rally), which means it is turned off and on by the bikes ignition switch.

Here's a shortlist of the average current draw for popular accessories:

• Heated Grips 3-5 AMPS
• USB Phone Charger 1-2 AMPS
• Heated Gloves 3 AMPS
• Heated Jacket 8 AMPS
• Heated Pants 6 AMPS

WARNING: Most High output horns will draw too much amperage for this circuit. If you are planning to use a 12-volt compact air compressor, be sure to check it to make sure it does not draw more than 10 amps! Usually better to get a compressor that connects to your battery tender SAE connector and ensure it's got the proper capacity.

PLEASE NOTE!

We recently discovered that some owners of ABS models were having a hard time locating the tail light connector we were using for the switched 12-volt circuit to energize our harness when the ignition is switched on. So we did some further investigation and found an easy connection point on the bikes diagnostic service connector on all Himalayans that can be used for this.

The printed instructions show this new connection point in step 5. The video below still shows the old connection point. (This is shown beginning at around 6:40 for reference)

This is the diagnostic connector (photo below) with the yellow 12-volt switch circuit on our harness connected.

Installation overview:

Remove the seat to gain access to the battery, connect the red lead of the MOTOSTUFF harness to the positive battery terminal and the black lead to the negative battery terminal. Use the included Posi-Tap connector to attach the MOTOSTUFF relay switch wire to the Himilayan harness near the battery. Route the MOTOSTUFF harness under the fuel tank, up through the triple clamps and to the handlebars or to the dash area if you are using one of our 12-volt accessory USB or 12-volt sockets (cigarette lighter style). Available below.

12-Volt Socket Version: (cigarette lighter style) This is a high-quality 12-volt socket we developed to offer an OEM appearance, with a water-resistant hinged spring-loaded cover. MOTOSTUFF LED Driving Light Upgrade

2017-2020 HONDA CRF Rally 250L

2021-2027 300L Rally

FITS RALLY MODELS ONLY. This kit is designed for the Rally's unique headlight and Rally tower. It does not fit the standard (non-Rally) CRF 250L or CRF 300L.

When we read early reviews of the Rally, the stock LED headlights got some good praises, so we were looking forward to not having to do any lighting upgrades to our new bikes. However, after owning our bikes for a while and logging some night miles, it became clear that there is considerable room for improvement in the lighting department. The stock LED system is OK for around town, but if you are traveling back roads, the stock beam pattern is too narrow and short. And there is also a large dead area right in the middle of the pattern that is lacking illumination. To resolve the issue, we researched mounting options and began testing high-end lamps from PIAA, RIGID, BAJA Designs and CYCLOPS. The result of our testing is a plug-and-play kit that can easily be installed in about 30 minutes with common hand tools and requires no cutting into the electrical system. The MOTOSTUFF DayLighter kit features the class-leading BLACK OAK LED PRO 2.0 driving lamp offering the best value and performance in our opinion.

Our bracket system provides 4 hard rubber isolated mounting points on the Rally tower, so the lamp is securely mounted and will not move out of adjustment even in harsh off-road conditions.

Easily installed in about an hour with common hand tools and no cutting of the wiring harness as it plugs directly into the Rally's accessory socket!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS DOCUMENT LOCATED: HERE

Our wire harness uses high-end DEUTSCH waterproof connectors and takes advantage of the Rally's powered auxiliary port inside the left fairing for power. And as a bonus, we've integrated an additional auxiliary port into our harness, so you can add our 12 Volt socket or USB charging accessories. (the Rally auxiliary port is a switched 10 amp circuit, fuse #5. Our light upgrade requires 5 amps, so that leaves enough reserve to power a dual USB or 12-volt socket accessory) We've also automated the switching by integrating a waterproof Hitachi micro-relay that is controlled by the Rally's semi-CANBUS controller, which automatically triggers the lamp to switch on when the high beam is selected.

The BLACK OAK LED PRO 2.0 Driving light used in our kit retails for $218 by itself. This is a popular lamp and performs comparably to lights used by top Adventure Motorcycle companies in their BMW and KTM adventure bike premium lighting kits priced at between $700 and $800.

The Black Oak LED PRO 2.0 is designed to project light at extreme distances while consuming very little power. Available in a wide range of lengths and configurations, these LED light bars can be used on virtually any vehicle or marine vessel. Along with being one of the highest output low profile light bar on the market today, the LED PRO 2.0 is built to withstand the harshest of environments, on land or over water. Each LED light bar is manufactured from the highest grade materials available, including unbreakable polycarbonate lenses and Torture Tested housings, and a detailed manufacturing process ensures that each light is resistant to shock, vibration and water penetration for years of trouble-free use.

Leads are 24" long and allow for safe routing from the lower-left radiator area following the factory harness routing to the instrument cluster or handlebar area.

Plug and play Do-It-Yourself accessory lead version is easy to install, just unclip the stock connector cap, connect this lead and attach to your accessory with the included posi lock quick connectors! Posi Lock instructions are included in each kit. D-I-Y Kit includes 24" 2 circuit lead ( 18 gauge red 12V+ and Black ground) terminated with Posi Lock connectors with abrasion sheath and 2 black zip ties for secure installation. Posi-Lock® Connectors have been put to the test worldwide since 1997. Superior in-line splices with just hand tightening! These electrical connectors require no crimping or soldering. An electrical connector that meets the needs of todays OEM's, and is so good, it's reusable. Truly a connector for the 21st century.

Fits 2017–2027 HONDA CRF 250L, CRF 250L Rally, CRF 300L and CRF 300L Rally

Double your factory accessory power without cutting a single wire. The MOTOSTUFF 1-to-2 Factory Power Lead Doubler plugs into your bike's factory 12 volt accessory connector and splits it into two identical factory-style outputs. Run a GPS or other permanent accessory, and still keep a plug-in point open for a MOTOSTUFF Dual USB or MOTOSTUFF 12 Volt Outlet.

Why you need it

Honda supplies one capped-off 12 volt accessory connector: behind the headlight on the CRF 250L/300L, and inside the left fairing on the Rally models. Once a navigation unit or other device is wired to it, there is nowhere left to plug in anything else. The doubler fixes that.

• Output A: GPS, navigation unit, or other permanently mounted accessory
• Output B: MOTOSTUFF Dual USB, MOTOSTUFF 12 Volt Outlet, or another plug-in accessory

Genuine Honda factory connectors

Every connector on the doubler is the same connector Honda uses on the bike's own accessory lead, so it fits, locks, and seals exactly like the original.

• True plug-and-play: the input mates with the factory connector, and both outputs match it, so any accessory built for the factory lead plugs straight in.
• Positive lock: factory retaining tabs click solidly into place and won't shake loose off-road.
• Weather sealed: factory-style seals keep water, mud, and dust out of the terminals.
• Fully reversible: nothing is cut or spliced. Unplug the doubler and reinstall the factory protective cap to return to stock.

Important: power capacity

The doubler gives you two plug-in points on the same circuit; it does not add power. Both outputs share the factory switched accessory circuit: 15 amps on the standard CRF 250L/300L and 10 amps on the Rally models (Fuse #5 in the Rally fuse panel).

• Keep the combined draw of everything plugged into both outputs under your bike's rating (15 A standard, 10 A Rally).
• Never install a larger fuse than the factory rating in the accessory circuit.
• Both outputs are live only when the ignition is on.

Easy installation

• Standard 250L/300L: the factory connector sits behind the headlight in a black vinyl boot by the right fork tube.
• Rally models: the factory connector is inside the left fairing, taped to the harness between two vinyl-coated retaining clips.
• Depress the release tab, pull off the protective cap (the part with two green dots), and click the doubler on. Needle-nose pliers help if you can't get your fingers in.
• Route the cables along existing harness and cable routes, clear of the fork tubes, and secure them with the included zip ties.

A printed installation guide is included with every doubler.
