For some reason, Royal Enfield failed to offer any extra fused and switched accessory circuits or a standard battery tender connector on the HIMILAYAN. So we have designed and manufactured a nice harness with some cool features that anyone should be able to install in about 30 minutes with common hand tools.  The harness is made of high-quality OEM grade materials for years of trouble-free service.  It is also protected by a 15 amp fuse.

PLEASE NOTE!

We recently discovered that some owners of ABS models were having a hard time locating the tail light connector we were using for the switched 12-volt circuit to energize our harness when the ignition is switched on. So we did some further investigation and found an easy connection point on the bikes diagnostic service connector on all Himalayans that can be used for this.  

The printed instructions show this new connection point in step 5.  The video below still shows the old connection point.  (This is shown beginning at around 6:40 for reference) 

 This is the diagnostic connector  (photo below) with the yellow 12-volt switch circuit on our harness connected. 

Installation overview:

Remove the seat to gain access to the battery, connect the red lead of the MOTO STUFF harness to the positive battery terminal and the black lead to the negative battery terminal. Use the included Posi-Tap connector to attach the MOTO  STUFF relay switch wire to the Himilayan harness near the battery. Route the MOTO STUFF harness under the fuel tank, up through the triple clamps and to the handlebars or to the dash area if you are using one of our 12-volt accessory USB or 12-volt sockets (cigarette lighter style). Available below.

12-Volt Socket Version: (cigarette lighter style) This is a high-quality 12-volt socket we developed to offer an OEM appearance, with a water-resistant hinged spring-loaded cover. Easily installed in just a couple of minutes, all you need is an 8mm wrench or socket to remove the rearmost windscreen adjusting bolt  (left or right side) so you can insert the bracket of your MOTO STUFF USB/12 volt socket accessory in place. Reinstall the bolt and tighten to secure the bracket in place and plug the end of the MOTO STUFF HIMALAYAN harness into the USB/12 volt socket connector and you are ready to go! Step by step detailed instructions are included. 

Dual USB Version: This is a high-quality dual USB charger with an OE appearance featuring a water-resistant spring-loaded hinged cover. The dual USB charger outputs 2.1 amps for fast phone charging and features a blue led indicator to let you know it's on.

Easily installed in just a couple of minutes, all you need is an 8mm wrench or socket to remove the rearmost windscreen adjusting bolt  (left or right side) so you can insert the bracket of your MOTO STUFF USB/12 volt socket accessory in place. Reinstall the bolt and tighten to secure the bracket in place.  And plug the end of the MOTO STUFF HIMALAYAN harness into the USB/12 volt socket connector and you are ready to go! All Kits include 18" 2 circuit lead (18 gauge red 12V+ and Black ground) with abrasion sheath and 2 black zip ties for secure installation.

USB Adapter- For your convenience, We've sourced a rugged Dual USB charger with aluminum housing for use with the 12 Volt socket kit-  Available below.   It does not fit flush, so it keeps the cover open about 3/4 of the way open, which provides easy access to the lower port as well as providing some protection against light rain/water exposure. 

This is a 15 AMP switched circuit, which means it is turned off and on by the bikes ignition switch.

Eventually, when I dropped my bike and found myself buying two(!) new master cylinders as a result, I decided it was time to make a really good mirror, one that would function well as a mirror, and also protect the bike (and me) from damage. I had three goals for my design: That it work as well as an OEM mirror for seeing what was going on behind. That it would be indestructible. It would have to give way in a crash to avoid damage not only to the mirror, but also to the bike. That it could fold completely out of the way, so that when I am offroad, I don't have to think about it. Many experiments later, the mirrors for sale here is the result. Both models hit all three marks right on the nose. We use SAE spec glass to give maximum visibility (it can be important to distinguish Crown Victoria headlights from other vehicles!), it is made right here in Colorado Springs from a super tough nylon that we are so certain will survive we offer a lifetime warranty (on the housing, not the glass, but you can buy the glass separately), and sure enough, it folds right down when you want it gone. Remove bike seat and locate the best mounting areas on the rear subframe. It may be necessary to slot the internal plastic tray if no subframe metalwork is exposed. Attach the 4x 20mm web loops securely to high strength areas of the frame. The 20mm loops are adjustable in length. Final adjustments should be carried out with the seat/pad fitted. Once set, the web must be threaded back through the adjuster to lock-off the webbing. See the threading diagram on this page. To fit the US-pack, hook on the web loop, attach the top quick-release buckle and cinch down the bag on to the bike. Always use the 2 x strap keepers on the web to manage the loose ends. Please also ensure that the quick-release buckles are correctly 'clicked'

The NEW OS-BASE is the latest addition to the range. An innovative modular pannier system that fits virtually any trail, enduro or dual sport bike without the need for metal pannier frames.

The OS-BASE is an over the seat harness' which allows OS-6, OS-12 or OS-18 ADVENTURE PACKS to be mounted as panniers.

The modular design enables you to modify your luggage set-up to suit your ride - from a day’s single track to longer adventure trips.

By adding an additional OS-ADVENTURE PACK as a top bag, you have a possible 100% waterproof, highly durable carrying capacity of up to 54 liters.

FITTING OPTIONS

Once the OS-RACK LOOPS are mounted on the rear fender and the OS PACKS of your choice are mounted to the BASE, fitting is quick and easy.

1. Hook-on the two top straps to the OS Rack Loops but leave loose.

2. Loop the two lower straps around the bike frame at the lowest possible position and hook them back to the loops on the strap making them as tight as possible.

3. Stand at the rear of the bike and pull the top straps as tight as possible, taking up the slack until the packs fit tightly to the bike.

4. Hook-on an additional top pack to the Loop Mounts on the OS-BASE and the OS-Rack Loops.

IMPORTANT If the OS-BASE is in contact with the exhaust silencer you must fit a heat shield.
