SRC Designs Engine/Crash Bar Set for Yamaha Ténéré 700 2019 - 2024* 

2020-2021 full and lower kits are compatible with SRC skid plate.

*2022-2023 models, you can not use the SRC V2 skid plate and lower crash bars. 

PLEASE NOTE! The SRC lower crash bars as well as most others are not compatible with the SRC V2 skid plate. That being said, the SRC V2 skid plate wing extensions do a good job of protecting the lower portions of the engine. 

Also, some international markets received the EURO 5 updates on the 2021 models (larger catalytic converter in the headpipe), North America models did not get this until 2022.  If you are unsure of how to order, shoot us an email for assistance.

Replacement guard/crash bar pads can be found here A common question is “Can the skid plate and crash bars be installed together?”  Yes, both parts include spacers that are used in the main mounting locations when the part is installed by itself. When adding the second part, the spacer is removed to allow room for the 2nd parts mounting bracket thickness. These crashbars often contain brown colored blasting media particles found in the ends of the bars.  This is not rust and is perfectly normal.Product installation instructions can be found here

This is the adventure rack system you want! Innovative modular design made of high strength lightweight aluminum alloy.

The SRC Designs Full Rack System includes left and right pannier racks, center tail rack, mounting hardware, and instructions (easily installed in about 30 minutes with common hand tools)

The Full Rack System features: 

• High-quality stainless steel mounting hardware, mounts using the existing steel subframe rack points (no drilling required)
• Rear Cross Brace for increased rigidity in event of the inevitable tip over.
• Side racks and top rack feature strategically positioned strap slots for quick and secure attachment of most brands of soft luggage.
• Center Tail Rack is nicely sized and shaped to fit the rear of the Yamaha and provides a nice solid foundation for luggage, camping gear, etc. The aluminum rack (weighs just over a pound) mounts to the stock steel subframe points (where the stock strap bolts are located).  The side wings support the load of soft side luggage and keeps the luggage from compressing the side plates

Thecenter  top rack is good for small luggage set up and especially Kriega luggage, however if you need access to the battery or electrics whilst on a ride you need to remove the rack which can be a little annoying and secondly the rack fits over the passenger seat so no place for a passenger to sit. The top rack with side racks (the part you are currently viewing) is good for riders that have soft luggage and side racks are slightly raised off the side with rubber stands-offs so they stop potential damage caused by luggage rubbing on the plastics. The new rear rack V2 with grab rails  (available here) is great as it allows access to air filter & electrics etc. without the need to remove the seat whilst out on a ride. The real benefit of V2 is using the grab rails to pick up the bike or lift the bike out of ruts & muddy holes etc...as T7 has nothing to hold onto at the rear of the bike. This V2 option allows for much larger luggage to be carried as racks sits further out off the back of the bike. On a side note, the V2 version can also act as rear crash bars as they stick slightly out from the side of bike. We've tested all options and this also comes from reliable customer feedback.

 SRC Designs Cargo Tail Rack for Yamaha Ténéré 700

Made of strong 3mm aluminum alloy plate for an optimal balance of strength to weight. Lots of openings for strapping and bungee cords.  This rack also includes stainless steel support brackets and is rated for up to 22 lbs  (10 Kg) of gear. 

Comparing this V2 HD tube frame rack with our V1 center rack, the center top rack of the V1 is good for small luggage set up and especially Kriega luggage, however, if you need access to the battery or electrics whilst on a ride you need to remove the rack which can be a little annoying and secondly the V1 rack fits over the passenger seat so no place for a passenger to sit. SRC Designs Protective Aluminum Skid Plate/Lower Engine Sump Guard for Yamaha Ténéré 700 added cutouts for more airflow and this V2 version offers left and right wing extensions compared to our standard model. The wings are visible in the photos and provide extra protection for the left side ignition cover and the right side water pipe and hoses. 

PLEASE NOTE! This skid plate is not compatible with most lower crash bars, including SRC lower crash bars. That being said, the wing extensions do a good job of protecting the lower portions of the engine though.
