Riding a 2026 Transalp? Start here.

The 2026 E-clutch has a 1" wider clutch cover, so the 2023-2025 lower bars and skid plate don't fit. These upper bars do. Build your protection in two steps:

1. Fit the upper crash bars now. They're in stock and protect your bodywork from day one.

2. Add the 2026 lower crash bars and skid plate when they arrive. They complete the full set alongside your uppers.

Own a 2023-2025 Transalp and want it all? The Full Crash Bar & Skid Plate Set includes these uppers plus the lower bars and skid plate, and costs less than buying them separately.

Why riders choose them

  • Protect the expensive plastics. The bars sit outside the side fairings so they hit the ground first.
  • Strong center connection. Left and right bars join at the front of the bike for a stiff, braced structure.
  • Easy to remove for service. Each side comes off with a few bolts when you need to pull a fairing panel.
  • Hand-laid TIG welds on 1" steel tube, laser cut and formed on a CNC tube bender.
  • Replaceable crash pads. Sacrificial plastic pads take the hit in a tip-over and are easy to replace.
  • Matches the lower set. The finish and design match SRC's lower crash bars and skid plate.

What Transalp owners are saying

★★★★★ The SRC Transalp protection range is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 40+ verified buyers

"Already had the lower bars and skid pan. So, the upper bars fit right up perfectly. And, if I need to pull the side fairing panel, the bars come right off with 3 bolts."

Delmer H., Upper Crash Bars ★★★★★

"If you look at the top bars and how they are connected to the bike in the center you can see how much stronger they are than other bars."

Kenneth L., 2025 Transalp, Full Set ★★★★★

"I just got back from an off-road park and had several crashes due to washouts. Laid the bike down on rocks, in ruts, and on climbs. The guards work incredibly well… If you're on the fence, buy them."

Scott, Transalp, Full Set ★★★★★

Installation

About an hour with basic hand tools. Start every bolt loosely, check the alignment at the front center joint, then tighten. Use thread locker on the hardware.
