Protect the engine, exhaust header, oil cooler and cases on your Honda CRF300L Rally with one heavy-duty kit. SRC's crash bars and aluminum skid plate bolt together into a single structure, so it is lighter and stiffer than separate bars and plate.

Fitment

Honda CRF300L Rally 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 ✔ Direct fit
Honda CRF300L Rally 2025, 2026, 2027 (new wider bodywork) ✔ Direct fit
Honda CRF300L (non-Rally) 2021–2027 ✔ Fits*
Honda CRF250L / CRF250L Rally ✘ Does not fit

*On the standard CRF300L, the bars sit a couple of inches out from the engine because they are shaped to clear the Rally's bodywork. See photos below.

Why riders choose it

  • One piece, not two. The aluminum skid plate bolts to the crash bars at six points and becomes part of the structure. The result is lighter and stiffer than two-piece kits.
  • Mounts to the frame and engine. Three through-pins use the factory engine mounting points. Nothing attaches to the Rally's fragile headlight tower.
  • Covers the parts that break. Protects the exhaust header, oil cooler, engine cases and underside from rocks, logs and tip-overs.
  • Service-friendly. Cutouts give you access to common service points without removing the skid plate.
  • Crash pads included. Plastic bar pads protect the powder coat in a tip-over.
  • A useful mounting point. The bars work well for highway pegs and auxiliary lights.

Why we don't make an upper crash bar for the Rally

Most full upper-and-lower kits attach to the front fairing mount. That mount is part of the headlight, dash and windscreen tower, which is made of light tubing and bends easily in a minor fall. An upper bar would push impacts straight into that tower and damage it.

We designed this kit to mount low, on the frame and engine. In most falls, the handlebar end and footpeg hold the bodywork off the ground, and these bars protect everything below that.

What Rally owners are saying

★★★★★ Rated 4.8 out of 5 by more than 90 verified buyers

"On my first ride with the bars, I accidentally dropped the bike on pavement during a slow turn. The protector block took the total hit keeping the bars off the pavement. The design was very well thought out."

Dan P., 2025 CRF300L Rally ★★★★★

"This bike has gone down more times than I could count… I raced it in a hare scramble and attempted a lot of hard enduro where I just smash down on my skid, and this thing just takes the abuse."

Smiley, 2023 CRF300L Rally ★★★★★

"The three mounting pins that go through the engine mounting points ensure the crash bars are solidly mounted… It was medium expensive, but well worth it. Quality design and manufacturing."

John S., CRF300L Rally ★★★★★

"Quality product, easy to install, works well with OEM fairings. Looks fantastic!"

Philip A., 2025 CRF300L Rally ★★★★★

"Excellent product. Quality materials, perfect welds, beautiful finish. Fits onto the bike's mounting points perfectly."

Installation

Most riders finish in 1 to 1.5 hours with basic hand tools. A second person and a lift or jack make it quicker.

  • Swap one engine mount at a time. Keep at least one or two engine bolts in place so the engine stays supported.
  • Use a small jack under the engine if a through-pin needs help lining up. A slight lift is usually all it takes.
  • Start every skid plate bolt by hand before tightening any of them.

Fitting the standard CRF300L (non-Rally)

The kit bolts onto the standard CRF300L. Because the bars are shaped to clear the Rally's fairing, they sit a couple of inches farther from the engine than a 300L-specific bar would. These photos are from a customer's install on a new CRF300L.

FAQ

Does it fit the 2025 and newer Rally with the wider bodywork?

Yes. It fits every CRF300L Rally from 2021 through 2027, including the 2025+ bodywork.

Do I keep the stock plastic skid plate?

You can. The SRC skid plate mounts to the crash bars, so the OEM plastic plate can stay in place or come off.

Will it fit the CRF250L or 250L Rally?

No. This kit is for the CRF300L and CRF300L Rally only.

Can I mount highway pegs or lights to the bars?

Yes. The 1" tube is a common mounting point for highway pegs and auxiliary lights.
