Full protection for the Honda Transalp XL750: upper crash bars, lower crash bars and a 4mm aluminum skid plate in one set. It guards the oil pan, exhaust, oil cooler, engine cases and bodywork from rocks, ruts and tip-overs.

✘ The 2023-2025 kit does not fit. The E-clutch cover is 1" wider, so the 2026 bike needs a new lower bar design. Your options are below.

2026 Transalp owners: get protected now

Our Upper Crash Bars already fit the 2026 Transalp, so you don't have to ride unprotected while the new lower kit is made. Fit the uppers today, then add the 2026 lower bars and skid plate when they arrive.

Want the whole set in one order? Choose a 2026 E-Clutch finish above to pre-order the complete kit. You can also pre-order the 2026 lower crash bars and skid plate on their own.

Why riders choose it

  • Protects the oil pan. The Transalp's cast aluminum oil pan hangs below the engine and is about the lowest point on the bike. The 4mm (3/16") aluminum skid plate covers it.
  • One structure, not two. The skid plate bolts to the lower bars and becomes part of the frame. It is lighter and stiffer than separate bar and plate kits.
  • Mounts at four points per side. It spreads impact into the frame instead of the bodywork.
  • Works with center stands. Compatible with OEM and aftermarket center stands. You can drain the oil without removing the skid plate.
  • Hand-laid TIG welds on 1" steel tube, laser cut and formed on a CNC tube bender.
  • Replaceable crash pads. Sacrificial plastic pads take the hit in a tip-over and are easy to replace.

Why protect it now

The oil pan and exhaust (circled below) are the first parts to hit a rock or the ground. A cracked oil pan can end a ride and is expensive to replace.

What Transalp owners are saying

★★★★★ Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 40+ verified buyers

"I just got back from an off-road park and had several crashes due to washouts. Laid the bike down on rocks, in ruts, and on climbs. The guards work incredibly well. I left with a broken turn signal… If you're on the fence, buy them."

Scott, Transalp ★★★★★

"The build quality is excellent — solid, clean welds and a precision fit with no modifications needed… Everything lined up perfectly and feels bombproof."

Matthew N., Transalp ★★★★★

"After looking at lots of crash bars and skid plates for my 2025 Honda Transalp 750 I chose the SRC brand… SRC was the strongest and easiest to install, but also easy to remove if I needed to change the oil or the air filter."

Kenneth L., 2025 Transalp ★★★★★

"After waiting for over 4 months on the OEM set from Honda I found the SRC set online. Received it in a week… A great product at a good price!"

Gary M., Transalp ★★★★★

"All parts look great and are built good and strong. Had no problems installing; it was easy and fast, took about an hour and a half… The owner himself was very hands on and called me himself to answer all my questions."

Beau M., 2025 Transalp ★★★★★

Installation

Most riders finish in 1.5 to 2 hours with basic hand tools. Tips from customers who have done it:

  • Assemble the bars off the bike first and check that everything lines up.
  • Start every bolt loosely before tightening any of them, then tighten in stages.
  • If skid plate holes are tight to line up, a ratchet strap or clamp across the lower bars pulls them into place.
  • Use thread locker on the hardware.

FAQ

Will this fit my 2026 Transalp?

The 2023-2025 kit won't. Every 2026 Transalp sold in the US has the E-clutch, and its wider clutch cover needs a new lower bar. Choose a 2026 E-Clutch finish above to pre-order, or fit the Upper Crash Bars now and add the 2026 lower kit later.

Does it work with a center stand?

Yes. It works with both the OEM and aftermarket center stands.

Can I buy the upper or lower bars separately?

Yes. See Upper Crash Bars and Lower Crash Bars and Skid Plate.

Do you charge sales tax?

No. SRC MOTO is in Oregon, which has no general sales tax. Orders shipped outside the USA may owe import tax, duties or other local taxes to the destination country.
